Hi All,

Still can't sleep, my hips hurt so much and to top it all I keep getting migraines.

Any suggestions?

Or great movies you can suggest watching to pass the time

xx

Having a cold recently I tried VICKS Daymed Max Strength Hot Lemon Drink.

Well, after having one when I went to bed I slept like a baby :)
so I had one the next couple of nights too - and slept all night again!

I used to have the Hot Lemsip ones, but they didn't send me to sleep the same and to be honest they don't taste anywhere near as nice as the VICKS ones :)

Only the other day, after having a few bad nights, I thought I'd have one at bedtime - and I slept through 'til 6am :)

It might be worth you trying one :?:

    Hi Vicki
Not nice not sleeping is it?
Maybe your Gp will prescribe something as it's the pain keeping you awake?
As for the migraines I had 18(!) over the summer since all this started, but not been told there might be a link...
I hope things pick up for you.
    take care

I have problems lying down: I get pain in my lower back and hips when I lie on my side and pain in my neck when I lie on my back, also headaches come on during the night which start at the back of my head. I have oa in my neck and the gp thinks its that causing the headache :!: My gp has just prescribed amatriptalyne, not as an anti depressant but as a painkiller. It also has the side effect of making you sleepy, so is good to take at night, but I've only just started it yesterday, so can't comment yet, although I did sleep well last night :), maybe its something to talk to your gp about? the dose is low for pain. if you can afford it i would get an electric bed or recliner chair the bed is the best thing ive brought, try a nice hot bath, with a glass of wine and come cocodamol or tramadol then i snuggle in to bed with some wheat bags and a hot water bottle. untill i got the bed in jan i was sleeping in the recliner quite well but had terrible swollen feet and legs so nurse told me to invest in myself for a change so i reluctantly spent the money and love it be carefull and shop around. i used to have some luck with a herbal supermarket sleeping tablet
