I have an appointment next week to discuss my MRI results , but having trouble booking an Amblunce ( mini bus ) I phoned my health centre up and they said as this is secound appointment you must book it through the hospital.

Now this is were the trouble begins : They say as I am younng ( 46) I can make my own way , I told her the gp said that I cant use puplic transport as The vibrations on buses and trains are very strong and cause me great pain , she said but you are younng i hate that saying now.

if I ever get to see the surgeon I will ask him to get this soreted out quick for me.

this nurse on the phone did not belive or ( made me belive me ) there are some good docs and nurse but some ruin it for others

:x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x :x on top off all this my father was rushed to hospital has he fell and broke his hip he is having suregry on Thusday depending on his blood pressure lowering and the warrfin out of his system.

Thank god the nurses and doctors are nice with him.

I am sorry you have had such a frustrating time! At 40 , I too keep getting , you can`t have OA/need a THR you`re too young! Oh I wish that was true!
Why do people insist on making us feel like we are asking for the moon? It is like ageism in reverse (or something). Stick to your guns, Mike, and insist on the service which you lnow you are entitled to.
I hope the rest of the day is less stressful!

Sorry to hear about your Dad and I hope his op goes well.
They usually can reverse the effects of the warfarin pretty quickly so I will cross my fingers that his BP goes down very soon.

Hi all,

Well I rang to ask to speak to the gp, I was told that she would phone me back later. Which she did I TOLD HER ABOUT HOW i WAS FINDING IT HARD JUST TO BOOK A MINI BUS ( AMBULANCE) she said did you not say that you are having hips problems I said I told her oa all over body , she said she should have understand, leave it with me I will see what I can do ( mabye she might too some good , lets hope so )

my dad is going for a brain scan tomorrow operation mabye Thrusday

yes I wish I was younng again say 16 , if I find out by next week that the ambulance was not booked then I have an appointment set for to see gp , I will go down and see her that day and miss the appointment to see surgeon ( but lets hope its booked,

Mike sorry to hear about your problems but over here we can't book transport it has to be done through the GP so maybe you should go through the GP as well as they can do it no problem

Sorry to hear about you Dad. I hope all goes well for him on Friday.

I've had a few hospital problems and my GP is sorting them out for me but its still worrying, isn't it. Try and relax as much as possible, (not easy in your circumstances) and let your gp do the work :!: LOVE sue xx
