Hi, personally I found that Diclofenic worked better than Naproxen, I do not take them now but took them for long periods in my younger days, now they upset my stomach love Jaspercatxx0

Welcome!
I know that different meds do different things to different people, but I personally preferred diclofenac over naproxen..... for some reason naproxen used to make me feel "away with the fairies" and I also struggled with nausea! Me and diclofenac get on just fine though!!!
Good luck!

Hi Colcath and welcome
Not much help i'm affraid but i tried lots of pain killers bad effects on my tummy. I ended up with paracetomol .
I take them only when needed quite offten at the moment. They dont take away the pain completly but they do ease it and some times when i'm not to bad it takes away the pain completly.
2 X 500mg Caps no more than 8 in 24 hours you need to take 2 of them at the same time but they do help and the caps have lees effects on the tummy. Take Care

I'm pleased it wasn't a clot, that must be a relief and you'll be able to discuss it soon, with your rhummy.
Chest pain is worrying and frightening, both for you and your partner :!: (I know about worrying about hubby as mine often complains his chest aches, as he has had phnomonia (spelling?). Take care, hope you feel better soon. Lots of love and sympathy, Sue0
