sorry to hear that you are feeling so bad today - It really is frustrating isn't it?

I know that the weather doesn't help, and often makes my joints worse, butI find if you can find things to do to keep your mind occupied that may help you to cope in the short term. (i do puzzles, or jigsaws etc)

Don't laugh ........:lol: go on then, laugh all you like :lol::lol: .............. yesterday my hands hurt so much I was wearing my big thick gloves INSIDE

we do whatever it takes sometimes!!!

    Hi Redpoppy,
I'm sorry your not too well today and the weather doesn't help much does it? I can't give any advice on how to feel better but I can really vouch for the fingerless glooves! Your finger tips may still be cold but they don't half keep your hands warm and if you need to try and do someting you don't have to remove them as you may have to big glooves.
Hi Wonkeylegs there nothing wrong with glooves on in doors, I sat here tonight in a fleece and padded shirt and a body warmer in front of my bit of fire ( the rest is being hogged by the 4 legged heat vampires) and still shivering. Spring isn't too far away now.
You both take care and Redpoppy I really hope tomorrow will be a better day for you. Cris

Just wanted to send you electronic hugs! I'm really sore today and am blaming it on the rubbish weather! :x
Do think about giving the fingerless gloves a try..... my fabulous Mum knitted me a pair that have a flap and turn into mittens (hope you know what I mean from the description!  ) I kept them on once I got to work today as my fingers were sore and it made typing a little easier.... almost like little support bandages for each finger!

    Roll on summer...eh!!

    Hi Poppy,
If it's any comfort, I feel the same. Damn this weather. Then later in the year I suppose I'll find it's too hot! Never satisfied.

Made me smile .... doing jigsaws with thick gloves on!!! What a talent! Must come and get some lessons.

Hi, I woke up in the early hours this morning, and one of my fingers, the index one on the right hand, was so painful and swollen  the others where fairly OK, just a bit achey as usual. It sounds stupid to lie awake with a pain in one finger! :) Hope you feel better soon. Love Sue

Think the fingerless gloves idea is a very good one - my problem would be that I'd have to battle to get them on and then I'd need the loo and have to take them off again :x

Fingerless gloves make walking the dog a ot easier - otherwise I have to stop and take my gloves off every time she needs a treat from my pocket. Since she only behaves in front of other dogs if rewarded, I spend half my life taking gloves on and off!!!!

PS - in case of confusion over my earlier post ....I'm aftraid I have not yet mastered doing jigsaws in thick gloves ........ but fingerless gloves may work

    Hi
As a user of fingerless glooves all the time I can not praise em enough! Wonkeylegs I do stuff that can be a bit small and I have to be vaugly precise and I don't need to take them off. The thin ones may well work for jig-saws Mine are well used and I even have a pair for best!
Legs get the cheep ones, they are often in pound shops or at the markets if you have any near you. The cheep ones are not so well made and become loose quicker and are very easy to get on and off. I sometimes can just slide them on useing my leg. I promise you they are worth a try.
Our snow is starting to melt, I hope your all as lucky. Take care, Cris
