Fun in the snow!!

Hi all,

On Monday, Max my 4 year old wanted to go out and play in the snow as it's the first time he's seen so much. I was having a good day and to be honest I get fed up missing out on all the fun. We built a snowman, had snowball fights and I pulled him around on his sledge. We both had a wonderful time! I knew that I was going to pay for it later and boy I did. No sleep that night, neck pain, shoulder pain, lower back pain and ached all over. The next day I ached and felt like I was a zombie and had to dose all day. I still think our day was worth it and although I'm in pain today I can remember the delight on my angels face on Monday. Keep smiling - often I feel upset and sorry for myself but happy times make it all worth while.

What a lovely story. You're completely right to do that and I envy you having a grandson to play with :!: Wrap yourself in cotten wool and you may not live any longer - it'll just fell like it! Love Sue

Glad you had a wonderful day, lets face it, bet you have had bad days without the fun element. You and Max will be able to relive the fun time and time again, talking about it and having a giggle. I am sure it was all worth the pain. Good for you. Linda

Sledging with my daughter and other kids and some neighbours.
It was definitely worth it!!

It's sad that if we have some fun there is a price to pay but nice that we still push ourselves to do it. At least you had a very happy day to think about and cheer yourself up when things get tough. Hope your pain settles down quickly and maybe there will be chance to do it again, I love snowball fights
