I had side effects of vomitting 3 days after taking Mtx but this went away until I had to increase the dose - now my dose is the same every week I have no side effects at all - touch wood

    Hi again Alanmancunian,

Is your GP aware that it's upsetting your stomach so much....my side effects only lasted a day and then I was okay, if a bit delicate, ....it doesn't sound right if you're suffering day after day - it could be worth you giving your surgery a ring to see if they can help.

    Hi alanmancunian

Are you also on NSAIDs? I only ask because I have a stomach ulcer from all the meds I take and the NSAIDs are the main culprit. I am now prescribed Losec for it and so long as I take it I don't get heartburn. It seems strange that the tablets didn't affect your stomach but the injections do.

I agree, you should contact your GP just to be on the safe side.
