Not good news on the Norwich game either to cheer you up!
Have just got back from Sheffield. Great game up there, although we were on the station at 6.30am to get to the 12 noon kick-off. Not so good but we are home much earlier than usual .
Hope the week picks up for you and maybe the RiNG meeting might help cheer you up.

HI Chrisov,
sorry you are feeling low. I know the feeling this weekend.
Spent day in bed on Friday ...... and most of today. Wiped out totally - seem to have gota bug too - perhaps we share the same one! Mouth very sore with ulcers etc ...... so got to go to GP / dentist on Monday
Things that made me smile today .......... It stopped snowing just as I went out of the front door, then started again when I got back in  usually the other way round!!
I managed to mend the kitchen door handle! (only taken 3 different shopping trips and assorted screws before we found one to work! )
I know I don't do football much these days but ........ SHeffield Wednesday beat Sheffield United
(don't mention that to my dad though!! :x :x )
Oh, and I got on this site and had a laugh - good place to come when we feel down isn't it?
hope you feel better soon. Just think - whilst we are snug in our home others are HAVING to brave the cold, icey, wet, horrid outdoors and would give anything to change places with us!0 -
'morning chrisov
Hope you are feeling a little better in yourself today.
Life is a bitch at times but if we think hard enough we can always find at least one positive thing about it.
I was in charge of grand daughter yesterday for a number of hours and her lovely face and her happiness made me feel really thankful for what I do have and I forgot about everything else.
Hope to see you posting soon,
Luv

Hi Christov
Thanks for your post re my surgery. Its good to know I have support here.
I hope that the weekend is getting a bit easier for you and you are getting some relief from pain etc... If not , treat yourself to a luxury duvet day. Nice warm snuggly bed, hot chocolate (or drink of your choice!!), fave film , or book. And keep checking in on here for friendly posts
It is difficult to keep your spirits up when the dreaded pain wears you down, but there`s always someone here ti listen etc..

Hi Wonkylegs
Are you a Sheffield Wednesday supporter too by any chance?

Hi Chrisov, hope you are feeling a little better tonight, I understand how you feel, I have been unable to get out due to the icy weather, I did go out last thursday and almost fell, it took Malcolm and the taxi driver to keep me on my feet.
It is awful when you can't get out, and being in pain too love Jaspercatxx0 -
Sheep with zips
Lovely thought!!!!!
kazpaz - well ......... describing me as being a SW fan is taking it a bit far. Was born in Sheffield and spent the first half of my life annoying my dad (raving united-ite) by supporting the Owls. Even belonged to the young supporters club and all that! However, the interest in football waned once I'd left home, and i now find myself having only an occasional interest - usually when the Blades have lost or been beaten by the Owls!!
Also cheer on Hull City if they win (live near hull now) but hubby isn't into football at all, and we tend to follow rugby more. Hull FC (League) to be precise, although he enjoys Rugby union too. He watches when he can find any on terrestrial - can't run to sky right now!0 -
