I have been wondering but do clicky joints always mean its arthritis? I have diagnosed OA in my left wrist and undiagnosed in ankles, knees and lower back and probably neck, I am 41 years old. However my daughter is 18 next week and has clicky wrists, ankles, knees and elbow and has pain in her lower back. thanks

Hi
I don't think that its always arthritis causing the noise  . I know people who have clicky, noisy joints but, no arthritis. Although I suppose they may get it later in life :!:  Sue0 -
I don't think clicky wrists are always a sign - my eldest son's jaw has clicked for years - we can all hear it as he merrily chomps away but he hasn't got arthritis (yet  ). Both my sons have had blood tests because my RA is very aggressive and severe and, for now, they've come back negative.
Your daughter's back pain would concern me though and it would be worth her having it checked out by your GP.
