:P Hi every one,i have'nt been on this website for ages due to moving house then i had to go into hospital soon after moving for a hip operation,so i did'nt have much time to sit at a computer.
I am waiting to go back into hospital to have my other hip done nothing runs smooth when you have got RA.Any way i have signed the Hydropherapy petition hope it goes well. When i was at the hospital iread an article in the Arthritis magazine about a teenage tennis player called ALICE PETERSON who as RA she has wrote a book about her life whith RA any body with RA will find this book very interesting it is BRILLIANT she has come to be a full time novelist whose condition is contrlled by anti-TNF therepy.

Hi Rebecca
I have read Alice's book and could not put the book down. I was enthralled. Later I read her other books too, not about RA.
We also emailed each other for a short time and she signed a heating petition we had going last year and I reviewed one of her books for her as she asked.
Here's wishing you all the best for your hip op when it happens.
Take care

Hi Rebecca,
I once read the pioneering heart transplant surgeon Christiaan Barnard's autobiography because he had RA - that was an inspiring read - mind you it was so long ago it's probably out of print now  .
