i recieved a letter this morning from my gp saying from my blood test last friday they found my red blood cells to be small and pale suggesting im anemic.my worry is ive just had my leflunomide put up from 10mg to 20mg and im wondering if this has caused the anemia.i cant get in to see my gp till next wednsday so dont know wether to keep taking the 20mg or not.i did have anemia when i was first diagnosed with arthritis and i was on iron tabs for a couple of years.

I am sorry to hear that. Could you leave a message for your doctor to ask if you should stay on the same dose or not? Then go next wednesday to find out more.

Hi, I am not sure if this helps or not, perhaps you could ask for a telephone appt with your gp, they do that around here and give you a few minutes Jaspercatxx

Hi Poppy I'm not much help i'm afraid but you could give your Rheumy nurse a bell and have a chat with her. Take care
