Hello Fellow Arthur Sufferers, Oh a bad one. 1st day out of the house in ages (lots of snow & ice). Way way overdone it, and its not good folks. Last straw was Tesco, I can't do it! Had tons of stuff delivered yesterday but himself so wanting to get out for a while. I'll cut it short, but ended up close to tears. I am soooooooo fed up, at 48 I feel about 100. Don't want surgery and the meds are just not 'doing it'. Home to v v stiff G&T. Sometimes its just the thought of another 20yrs or so of feeling like this? I think people must see this crazy woman (ok so I bore myself to tears too)...you know??
Hugs all round
Mxx Ps I know if I was reading this would say back to GP (9 years on - more pills & potions, I just don't know)....

Hi Mousey As you know most of us are the same and on those bad days the future never looks good and then there are those days where you think what future. Its so easy to overdo things and coping with that long term pain is no easy task. 48 hey i have some good news for you, you could live far beyond you 80s i hope lol. Anyway Mousey you take care and keep your chin up and get a good rest.

if a punch-bag is not good for those moments when hitting something would reallyhelp, try throwing one of those really spongy stress balls (NOT the hard ones!!!!) at a wall / door / ceiling etc!

I got one for a friend of mine who works on her own in the office, but manages other people who can be challenging at times. She really loves knowing that she can throw it around her office without hurting / breaking anything, and itreally does make you feel better!

    Oh Mousy :(
    Poor you.
Tesco is hard work at the best of times and you were so right to have it delivered. I do too and it works well- especially for the heavier stuff.
We have a HUGE tesco near here in Stafford which I never have been all the way round, but my local one is still pretty big
Did O/H realise how bad you felt do you think?
I hope today you have a good rest and do something nice for yourself, read a book or listen to music or something like that, maybe you'll feel a bit better :?:
    Take care Mousy

Hi, I am not sure about a punch bag, but if I feel like hitting something out of frustration, lots of that for me at the moment, I get a pillow or cushion and beat it up, it is amazing how much better I feel afterwards love jaspercatxx
