Tired today

I feel very achy and tired today. Yesterday I had my eyes tested and found the reason for the double vision is that my right eye musles have become weak and don't work with my left eye. I am going to have to have new glasses verifocals with a prisum lense and reading glasses for proper closs work.
Today I feel really drained and tired. I ought to be doing housework, but feel to lazy to start. My neck aches my shoulder hurt my back hurts, my feet hurt..... I feel like I did something really energetic yesterday, but it was only a 6 mile drive and a 10 miniute walk. When I got back to the car, I felt the backs of my legs ache as if i'd just walked miles! I feel really lazy . Sorry to moan on and on, its guilt really, I suppose. Love Sue.xx

I had a good ol moan yesterday, so fire away. Its nice to do it here and people understand what you are feeling. Curl up today, the housework can wait one day!!0

Hi Sue
Why should you feel guilty? It is your body's way of telling you to rest today so you should listen and take it easy if you can. I had a very bad day on Monday but then yesterday I felt much better. Sorry to hear about your eye problems, but hopefully the varifocals will sort it out. I wear them and find them excellent.Don't worry about moaning. It is better to get it out of your system than to bottle up your feelings
All the best

Hi Sue, sorry about your eye test but at least they will sort it for you with the new glasses. Now sit down and i'll put the kettle on wheres the tea bags oh its ok i found them. The house work will still be there when your feeling a little better, as for the ten minute walk thats a bit like doing a marathon when your not well. As for feeling lazy thats what it does to you its your bodys way of saying hey you take it easy with me, its time to rest. Now the guilt its funny the way we feel is it guilt at not doing anything or guilt that we done to much or just the way we feel. as for the moaning its gret to have someone to moan to and listen to you. Whats even better still is having a bunch of people that not only listen but understand how you feel, Continul pain and feeling drained does become hard to cope with but i'm sure you will bounce back soon.
Take care and keep your chin up.

Hi Sue,
Maybe you didn't walk or drive far by some people's standards but remember that stress is also tiring and you could have been 'wound up' by the eye test and also your eyes may have been worrying you for a while. Driving can also put you on edge, I know, as I'm a passenger next to my husband and he sure rants at many other drivers
I believe when you get your glasses you'll need to sit with your feet up and test them with your fav mag or novel and possibly a box of chocs on several occasions

Hi Sue, I sympathise with you! I've felt tired today and seem to have got 'achier' as the evenings gone on. Yet strangely I had a better nights sleep for a change last night
This evening pain in upper arm muscles seems to be radiating around my back and into my chest! Boy I have aches now where I didn't know you could

Thanks everyone, I'm feeling a lot better today . I think I overdid things a bit on Wednesday, as when I came home I did some ironing! My own worst enemy. Love Sue.0
