hi, i have recently started a thread as i am new to arthritis. i was told by my doc in the week i have serognegative after having an mri. i hvae been having symptoms for a while and am wondering whether they are relevant. i dont want to just tell the doctor a load of symptoms and get the rolling eyes treatment!
I have been waking up in the night with numb arms and tingling hands, like the blod has been cut off hands. very tired esecially after any exercise even thought i am considered a very fit person.
when i am exercising i am finding i cant do as much as previously, for example, i would usually be able to pump out 60 press ups no problem but now i am finding that i am getting pain in lower back just trying to hold myself up in that position before my shoulders / arms even get tired.
also when going for a run i get a pinching burning pain in my hips on the sides like it is going deep into my hips - i cant quite pin poin tthe pain as it seems to move.
should i mention these to the doc on monday. i dont want to come across as a blabbering wreck.
thank you!

Hi Bailey,
Yes, I would mention these symptoms to your GP. Don't work yourself too hard, rest a bit

Hello yes all these symtoms i can recognise as what i have and do experiance. mine was zero negative for eight months before i became RA positive this does not mean you will be the same as i have other symtoms now but i can certainly recognise these symtoms. write down your symtoms and do not worry what the doctor thinks he has heard it before and they need the full facts so they can make a diagnosis and the more you mention will help give a fuller picture. best of luck with that let us know how you get on. from joanne priceJoanne0

These are symptoms you must tell your GP about. They are similar to symptems I've had and are relevent. I know its horrible reeling of a list of things, but that helps the Doc make a diagnosis. Good Luck Sue xxx0
