Hi
In my area I contacted the local town hall, and made an appointment to complete a form and took the required information eg. hospital letters, utility bills.etc. Ring your local town hall or check their website. I think they can also be applied for if you are awarded DLA mobility.

Hi Mandy
I got my application form from a link on the government web page, I filled out an on-line application form request and received it within 2 days. I filled out all I could and then made an appointment with my doctor who is very nice and he helped me complete it. I like you don't need it all the time so only use it when I'm struggling but it has been a godsend to me. Hope you find your application as easy as mine.

[if you have difficulty walking you should apply for dla  if you are entitled to the higher rate you can get free car tax and you could have a new car instead of a monthly payment. go for it0

As Debs said go to your local authority web page, type your city and blue badge in and it should take you there. You give them a ring and they'll send a form out for you to fill in. Good luck!0

I am waiting for the results from the rheumy (I went on Wednesday go back 18th March) as my GP took nearly 3 years to refer me for my back pain they kept telling me it was posture. I am still putting in for an appeal as soon as the copy of the gp form turns up.

Some days I am really worked up because my partner cannot get a Blue Badge. There at the super market or carpark I see people getting out of cars far better than my partner can. But because my partner can sometime walk more then the minimum distance he has been refused.
Some days it is difficult just to get them out of bed. Let alone to get into the car to go to the shops.
But it is even more infuriating to see people without any badge parking in the spaces provided. One day they will give my partner a badge but by then I will need it as well.
All the best

Hi Mandy a letter from your GP will do the job, I think they have a standard form to fill in
