    Hi there

No I haven't been in this position but did find some info on people's tribunals when I googled it. I've got OA in my spine too & still waiting for word. Like colin said, speak to CAB or Welfare Rights, I've read a few responses on here from people who have been helped by them and they say they were terrific. Good luck

Hi Andy, I had to go to a tribunal about 6 years ago, they just asked loads of questions, looked at the paperwork, they then asked why I thought I should get DLA, I told them because I have RA I need help looking after myself etc, I got the award ok. It can be a bit intimidating, and seek advice from CAB etc, I was told I had a better chance going in on my own so I did, hope this helps Jaspercatxx

I would suggest a look at http://www.benefitsnow.co.uk/handbook/Inflamatoryjointdisease.asp which is an extract taken from the Disability Handbook and is used by tribunals/assessors for guidance. g010.gif
