Hi Steve, personally speaking I do not have the problem on Tramadol, but perhaps you could tell your gp, they can give you anti-emetics tablets like Stemetil, that will take away the nausea you are experiencing, the only other thought is that maybe the tramadol is too strong for you hope this helps love Jaspercatxx0

Hi Steve
I know people who also take Tramadol and they say they find them too strong or make them feel ill. I've been taking mines now since October and have never had any problems. I do find though, they will make you woozy if you haven't eaten enough before taking them. I make a point of having a good breakfast in the mornings even though I don't feel hungry and am forcing myself to eat. Try and stick with them, they build up in your system and really help to control the pain.

Hello Steve, like if felt very ill while taking Tramadol along with the same dose of Gabapenten. I now take Co-codamol 30/500 two three times daily.
If I were you, I would have a discussion with my Dr. regarding what would be the best solution in your case. Linda0 -
Hi Steve
A few weeks ago I too was on Tramadol and they made me feel sick and messed with my head (thats the way I describe it) I went to the docs and she took me off them and put me on co-codamol 30/500 they have similar side effects but not as severe. Go chat with the doc to find out what works for you.

Hi Steve
The Tramadol don't affect my sleeping. I've never been a great sleeper as I am one of those people that the minute they go to bed it's like they have a million thoughts start! I have diazepam for my muscle spasms and find if I take them at night I do relax more. I just went back to work this week after Mat Leave and my work must be tiring me more as I have been sleeping well since going back. I get very tired during the day but avoid napping as it tends to make me more restless at night.
