a positive post!!

hi everyone!
So often I write on this forum if I'm poorly, feeling crappy and/or want to moan. I thought I'd just like to post a positive message.
I'm getting married next saturday!!
I'm pretty nervous and excited, bit worried about how i'm going to cope with all the standing, even though I've found some flat wedding boots (which actually look sexy rather than my usual clumpy comfy boots). I've managed to convince my partner that i'm wearing trainers too! Mean I know!
But then we've got two weeks in sunny Egypt with lots of warm weather. Really looking forward to the relaxation. Will let you know how it goes!

    wishing you all the happiness ofr you wedding day and i am glad you have found your sexy boots. dont worry about the standing i am sure they will find you a chair. i nearly passed out in the heat on my wedding day and i spent most of the service on a chair with a glass of water happy day best wishes for the big day keep us informed about the wedding day from joanne price :):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):):)

    Great have a great time. It's nice to have some happy news on here. Have a good time in egypt you lucky thing. OH the warm weather im soooo jealous. Let us know how it goes

    What an exciting time in your life :!: :D I hope you have a wonderful day. I will think of you, and I think the excitement will carry you through so you won't even think whether you can stand.But a chair could be there in case.Don't do what I did :oops: When the organ started to play for the first hymn, I chimed in before I realised that it was only the intoduction, so I was singing a solo :lol::lol::lol:
    I have been married for 43 years now,and it has been a fantastic life.

    Good luck, I can tell you right now it will be the best day of your life. People say it's just a piece of paper but you'll know it isn't when you do it. You are on a high from the minute you wake up in the morning (that's if you got any sleep) and then afterwards you feel so connected. Make sure you enjoy the day, it goes so fast and suddenly all that money and planning is over. Get as much sleep as you can, no sleep = emotions! My family have never seen me cry and nearly fainted when I couldn't get it together for the tears. The hubby thought I was doing a runner! Have a great day and don't worry about the weather, it is the last thing on your mind on the day. xxxx

    I wish you all the luck in the world for your wedding day. I loved my wedding day. I had spent so much time planning things that it was fantastic to see it all come together and enjoy it. As some one has already said, try to take your time to remember everything as it does seem to go so quickly.
    I am so jealous of your 2 weeks in the sun! Enjoy!!

    Only three days to go now :!: :!: :lol: Hope everything is going well and that you are taking a bit of time to relax among all the arrangements. The best time will be when you face each other and say your vows. It seems as though you are the only two people in the building,wherever that may be.     we got married just over 3 yrs ago, it was only a small wedding in the registry office in winchester, but it was lovely!!!
    i didn't want a big fussy wedding so it was perfect!
    we had big black taxi to take me to the wedding and then take us both (and ellie my daughter!) back to the reception, it was great, the taxi owner put flowers on the back shelf and a ribbon on the front, oh it was lovely (and much cheaper than the big old classic car my mum wanted to book!) the best part was driving through the town to get to the registry office, everyone was waving and wishing me good luck, oh fab!!
    anyway, i went off on one then, sorry!
    you will have the best day ever and don't worry about all the standing, i took my walking stick along but with all the excitment of the day i didn't need to use it, you get carried along by the emotion, oh, have a great day!!!
