i have had trouble with my right hand for 25yrs.dx with tenosinivitus
after a motorcycle accident.have a constant lump in my wrist which swells & makes my fingers curl up so there useless. the pain was always treated with ibuprofen.i ignored it carried on working, even though i had problems with my r/foot & back.
i have used so much tubigrip over the yrs a mummy would be jealous
now dx with arthr in all joints including spine.
was told i couldnt work anymore,so ends my saga apart from dla claims & appeals, but thats another story.
i should write a book

    Hi Anne :D

I am afraid it could be the start of arthritis in your hand. It would be best to check it out with your gp and have an xray done. This will show up any arthritis if that is the problem.

I have arthritis in both thumbs and now one knee only as I eventually had a total knee replacement in the other over a year ago. It seems to be luck of the draw whether one can escape arthritis when doing an abundance of work of a manual nature. I have done a lot in my time too and thoroughly enjoyed it, I hasten to add and I feel that is what hurried my arthritis along big time. Others, doing exactly the same kind of work get away with it. Lucky them :lol::lol:
