:DHello all this is Rebecca not been on for a few weeks had a bad back , i am due to go into hospital on the 17 march for a full hip replaycment so i have been trying to get my back right before i go in, i cant wait to get it done so i will be able to walk properly.
Why do peole with R A have to suffer like this. I come from a large family and i am the only one to have R A in the family makes you wonder where it comes from, anyway i will be painfree for a while
till the next problem occurs. love rebecca

hi, i to come from a large family and i'm the only one with RA, it means they don't understand how frustrating and hard it makes everyday life, but hey ho!!
good luck with your hip replacement, i had my hip resurfaced a few years ago due to OA (wear and tear from an accident many yrs ago before) and it really did help me!! although a yr or so ago i started getting alot more pain all over which turned out to be RA, which was frustrating, not least for the surgeon, he couldn't understand why my hip suddenly got more painful!! but with the diagnoses things are abit better!
fingers crossed you will get a good improvment after the op.

    Hi Rebecca,

    Glad your back's better.

I, too, come from a large family all my brothers are fine but I have RA and my sister has lupus - just the luck of the draw I suppose

Hope your hip op (could be a dance that  ) goes okay.

    Luv Legs :D
