Just thought I would share some good news for a change. Had rheumy appointment yesterday and after having bad flare for 13 months have finally been offered anti tnf. My rheumatoid factor has been through the roof for past 9 months hands, feet and shoulders all affected now. I was really pessimistic about the apointment because I had been literally banging my head against the wall trying to get them to help me and wouldn't you know it I take hubby with me for moral support and they could not have been more helpful, don't you hate it when that happens! Anyhoo good news is that this should hopefully work and I can then tell which bits will need replacing, but hey thats another bridge to cross, they can re-build me!

My goodness mrs dalloway - that is brilliant news. :D:D:D:D You must be on cloud nine today, that something positive is happening. You really have been through the mill.

You deserve all the help possible and don't let them forget that. You have waited far too long, with all that suffering.

Thanks you for sharing that with us. It will no doubt give hope to others, that there is light at the end of the tunnel .........eventually.

Have a good, rest of the day.

    Luv
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Hi, well as a newbie not sure just how significant getting 'tnf' is but from these responses it looks like it must be a good thing :!:

So good luck from me too :)
