Lots of people feel like this at times but I am getting this feeling more and more often usually starting about 8 or 9pm. I feel perfectly normal in the morning. I am on methotrexate, leflunomide. Any ideas? Spoke to nurse while getting my bloods done and she said something might show up but I've this is has been happening for sometime and nothing out the ordinary shows, only it is getting a lot worse. Feel absolutely dreadful so much I thought I was at deaths door last night.

Hi Jenny,
Don't know how long you've had arthritis but I did feel like this in the early days especially just before bedtime - I just associated it with being tired and needing sleep at the time. Thinking about it now I did get bouts of chilly feelings during the day and after a sleep would be okay again. I think it'll settle down and is possibly because your disease is active at the moment but if you're worried make an appointment to see your GP to see if he/she can help

Hi
Legs is probably right. Have you checked your temperature? I have had temps when I am swollen and in pain and was told it was relevant by the rheumy.
Something as simple as paracetamol can take the temp down and have you feeling a good bit better.
Take care
