Itchy Arms

I wonder if anyone wakes up scratching themselves? I've never had a problem with my skin until I started on my various meds for OA. For the past few weeks I've woken myself up digging at my arms as they get itchy during the night. It is localised to my forearms. Now before I go to bed I smother them with moisturiser which is helping. It just seems odd that the itching is only on my arms.
Has anyone experienced this?

Hi Sarmaine
Mmmm itching eh?
Think that's something you should checkl out with you GP really, just incase it's an allergy to your meds.
Mothing worse than itching - cratching only nakes it itch more doesn't it?!
Take care

Hiya
I get forearm itching fairly regularly.
I am always scratching away - and make myself sore and red afterwards because the sensation does not disappear
I have also now developed some painful/itchy eczema spots on the same area
I don't plan on telling my rheumy because he already believes it's all in my mind.

Hi, I often wake in the night itching, just my arms. Theres nothing to see and it dosen't bother me in the day! I put mine down to the carpel tunnel thing and tingling hands. :? Love Sue0
