Well started my physio for real today. She thinks my hip/leg problems are to do with my spine and the pressure it was put under due to the pain I experienced from my neck problems. She found numerous 'hot spots' on my spine and commenced treating this with acupuncture initially and possibly looking at hydro therapy to follow this as this would help not only my lower spine but also my arm. I am game for anything and have every confidence in my physio who treated me, very successfully, many years ago.
I am due to see the Rheumy on Monday, we wonder if he will agree with this. I wonder if I will get anything better from this one than I did from the last.
It's all go, I got a phone call to arrange an appointment with the podiatrist for the 17th as my insoles will be ready then. Linda

Hi that's good things are progressing finally. If you get the acupuncture can you let us know how you get on? I've been referred to our pain clinic and this is a service they are offering. Hope everything goes well, x

Acupunture is very nice, and it is so relaxing after a session. I would have it regularly if I can afford it. If you are offered acupunture, you will enjoy the experience.

despite what I have just said, I have had acupuncture in the past for my tennis elbow and found it tremendously helpful. Despite the aches etc it engenders a wonderful feeling of well being. In my elbow it increased the blood flow which has continued for many years. Linda
