Hi
I went to the self help group on Thursday night it was really interesting and everyone was very welcoming to me. The Rheumy nurse was there giving a little talk, so anyone who has RA would have found this really good, questions and answers for anyone who wanted to ask anything. I have OA so it was a bit over my head when they were discussing blood test results, but I did learn alot and in future when you all post things about metho-wotsit and steroid injections (other than in joints) now I have some idea of what you are talking about. I am looking forward to attending more of the meetings and I would encourage anyone with Arthur to do the same if there is a group near you.
Denise.

    Hi
NB - The next meeting is 7th May I think thats a get together witch will be good cos you can have a chat with the others, but for future meetings they have physio, pain management, orthopedic consultant (I think).
Colin - If you click on In your area on this website, go into branches it tells you if there are any meetings in your area, or just email:- DonnaS@arthritiscare.org.uk
and she will tell you who to contact for your area.
