Hi all
I started methotrexate a fortnight ago now and have been noticing more bruises than usual and just put it down to being clumsy. yesterday I knocked my finger a little and today I have a huge bruise starting on the middle joint and going right up to my knuckle, I don't think I've ever bruised a finger before, certainly not from such a little knock! I phoned NHS Direct who didn't think it was anything to worry about, and plan to phone my GP tomorrow to see if my blood results are back from Friday, but wonder if this is common, am I going to be covered in bruises from every little knock now?
I'd be really grateful for your thoughts.

i have noticed i bruise more easily, i'm sure people think i'm being beaten up!
i get cracking bruises from a slight tap, i have 1 on each arm now but i don't know how i got them.
i've stopped mtx for now so i'll see if i still carry on bruising and let you know!
