Have you been to Access to Work. I applied to them via Job Centre Plus a few years ago and an occupational therapist visited me at work and recommeded equipment which has been a great help and allowed me to continue working. It is my belief that your employer has to follow the recommendations they make. :roll:0

Ok you sound as if you would come under the DDA and the work has to make reasonable adjustments for you if they are unable to do that they have to redeploy you. It also makes a difference on the kind of work you do. But they still have to make life a little easier for you so that you can do your job even if it means reduced hours. Have you thought about job share if that is possible.0 -
RA is covered under the DDA if you need more info check out www.direct.gov website this tells you a lot about disabled and working also some benefits that you may be entitled to also check out access to work they came and saw me at work had to make some changes and they also gave my company a grant towards the equipment i needed made my job a lot easier dont get upset lift yer head up we have rights aswell
