Hello Everyone,
I just wanted to say Thank you all for your help prior to my operation. I went into hospital three weeks ago today, and they replaced my left hip with a full ceramic one. They changed my surgeon at the last minute so I didnt meet him until the day of the operation, but he did a really good job. They gave me a spinal injection and the operation took two and a half hours as there was a lot of scarring and growth around the socket. I was in hospital for two weeks. I had few issues with the nursing care. But apart from that I have been out of hospital a week today and everything is going well. I will have to go in again sometime to have my other hip done, but they say it is much easier second time around.
