Hi all, I havent posted for a while so i hope you are all well.
Just a quick introduction to me; was diagnosed with osteoarthritis last July in knees, hip and hands.
I am managing everything ok now thankfully, some days worse than others but i cant really complain.
The only thing that is really bugging me are my hands. they are by far the most painful but what really annoys me is the shaking that i get in different fingers at various times. it is not like my hand or all fingers have tremmors but it is like i am having a spasm in a finger at a time.
i now have this in three fingers and each of them do this at times throughout the day and it is getting more often and more noticeable. I teach childcare and some people have noticed and commented, which can be embarressing but also makes it hard for me to write on flipchart etc.
Anyone had these themselves and any ideas on what to do please?
Thanks
Lynn

Hi Lynn
No I don't have this, but it must be awful for you.
People might think you've been drinking.
First I think you should read your meds leaflets and check it is not a side effect. My youngest has epilepsy and she had that problem when her epilim levels were too high.
Otherwise you should definitely seek medical advise.
Take care

Hi Lynn,
I get this and twitching in the legs as well. They tell me its probably a nerve being touched or my brain. Worst of all if I feel ill or tired I get a stammer...... Never had one before 5 years ago........ Could we do a deal, if you find out what it is let me know and I will you? I hope you don't get the cramps as well? Mine comes and goes and I hope your soon goes. Take care, Cris0
