I have a rheumy visit tomorrow after finding out I am sero-positive. I'm presuming he will finally diagnose RA -5 year wait !!
I am very lucky I'm on plaquenil -since mid Dec, and it's working though I have noticed my hand twisting and wondered whether it was worth asking for a splint to wear at night to slow the process down or is it worth it?
I don't want to ask a stupid question tomorrow!!

would appreciate your thoughts

Would it be worth asking for an occupational health referral? They made night splints for me - I don't wear them all the time but I find they do help.

That's good news -over the last couple of years I've acquired various ones, some for wrists, some with thumb support as well, plus night time ones. As I said, I don't need them all the time, but find them invaluable when I do. Hope you find they help, take care,
    Josie
