Woke up this morning feeling like a train has run over me through the night. I have cervical spondylitis which was very much better after the injections, but I had to stop them cos they caused fits. All I know is that I have Arthritis as every blood test, xray and scan comes up normal. Sorry to go on but I am at a loss to explain how I can be in pain all the time, not sleep for pain. Take morphine for pain but be normal aarrggg! It just doesn't make sense. To make things worse my neck is starting all over again.

Thanks for listening to me moaning on

love Dianne

    Hi Dianne
I think its a good morning for moaning, i had one too!
It is difficult when you are in so much pain and you don't have a proper diagnosis either so you can be on the appropriate meds or so that you can tell people around you so they understand wht the problem is. It so often is the case though. My blood tests never seem to correlate to the level of pain I am in. There are many other s on the site who can't get a proper diagnosis either. Hopefully your doctors will use their clinical judgment rather than relying on tests to treat you appropriately.
    Take care Gillx

    Hi

I read your post this morning, how u feel is exactly the way I feel, it really gets you down. The dr will say what he thinks it is but won't say this is what it is and this is what may happen. I think my problem as well is i'm difficult to treat because all the meds which may help I can't take cos they cause fits9I have epilepsy) so the result is they have told me sorry can't do anything. So basically go away and be in pain but do it quietly lol gonna see dr on 29th so we'll see what he has to say. not holding my breath though.

    keep smiling

    love Dianne :D

I know how you feel. I tried a day without meds once and never again! It suddenly hit me how dependent I am on medication and this worries me as I have always prided myself on my very high pain threshold. I still get my teeth drilled without anaesthetic yet can't go a couple of hours with my OA and sciatica without needing my meds. I always wonder what this plethora of drugs is going to do to my body as I have been told I will be on them for life. Hopefully one day some whizz kid will find a cure for arthritis!
