Hi
i had an injection 3wks ago in bottom (i have RA) it took a week to work and then seemed to help quite abit. but yesterday felt alittle more achy and today very achy, legs not working as well as they have been. surly injection should last more than 2wks?
i have to go back to work tomorrow after 2wk easter break, i work in a playgroup and if i can get down enough to sit in the little chairs i know i,ll neave get up again.
only just started taking plaquenil 2wks ago so got ages to wait to see if that works.
do i just put up with it.
nxt rhumy appointment about 10wks
may be i should just see how i go for few days.

Hi there!
Have you a rheumy nurse you can call regarding the short relief from the steroid injection and if there is anything else you can take in the meantime until the plaquenil, hopefully kicks in big time?
Perhaps you had better not get to sit in one of those little chairs if possible. Would they let you have a normal chair perhaps as they are probably aware your mobility is not the best at the moment?
I wish you well and hope your first day back is not too arduous.

Hi Page
Elna's advice is sound. Hopefully you won't have to sit in a teeny tiny chair
In the meantime - give the rheumy nurses a quick ring, but incase it's an answerphone remeber to leave your tel no - not like me!!
Take care
