well i had second round of injections on monday and it was a double ouch from the first round , have seen the consultant to day to be told that , if its not done any good after the second it probably wont after the third round , but have them any way , then come back in eight weeks and we will discuss TKR MENTS , so now i am in total shock ,yes i knew they were bad but to be told is a different matter , plus i might find relief using crutches instead of a stick xx :shock: :shock: :shock:

Have only just seen this post and it's made me laugh - I think people on this website are really the bravest wimps in the world considering what we have to put up with. :roll:

There's no harm in discussing your TKRs with you Rheumy, that's just what it will be, a discussion, he won't force you to have them done - you'll have time to think about it before you make a decision.

I've not looked back since I had both mine done at the same time 8+ years ago.
