Hi Debs
Glad to hear that your appointment is soon. After waiting 13 months, you must be quite excited to have the possibility of making some progress with your condition.
All the best

hi all,i want to know really how far things have progressed as my gp says my condition has deteriated quickly over the past few months.thats perhaps why ive got the MRI so soon. there looking for a trapped nerve according to rhymy.
but the letter says i wont get results til i see rhymy again & thats 8 months away.
ive heard good & bad stories about pain clinics,& the injections into joints sound painful. but if they help to a bit off pain relief then so be it.
thank for your replies & hope your all ok.debsx0 -

Hi Mash
Glad things are moving for you and hope that some better pain relief will be offered to you. It seems such a ridiculously long time to wait 8 months. Your GP must get a copy of the results a few weeks after the scan. Cant you make an appointment to discuss it with her/him before your rheumy appt??

Hello, At least now, you feel something is being done. Thats good news! Love Sue0

I know exactly how you feel. I was whooping with joy when my pain clinic appointment came through. I just have high hopes that they will be able to help with the sciatica as it is completely crippling me. I am counting down the days to my appointment and it's weird I actually want to go to Hospital for once. Will you let us know how everything goes? x0

Hi Debs,
I'm glad you have the MRI, I think you will get the results quicker if there is anything worrying on them. My Rumo always says he will ring if he finds anything otherwise we will talk about it next visit.
I'm glad they are at last getting on with it, I hope the pain one doesn't take too long, my original one was 6 weeks from referral and now in the system she sees me as a review of what she'd done in 6 weeks and is going to do some more.
Fingers crossed they are going to help you and get you more comfortable.
Take care, Cris x0
