Pins and needles in my face, neck and shoulders

HI there
I have RA and am on Anti TNF.
I have recently been getting a pins and needles type sensation in my face, neck, shoulders and even on occasion the top of my head. This is not life threatening but it is disturbing. I am due to see a doc next week but I wondered if in the meantime anyone else had had a similar experience.
I am really just curious as to whether RA sufferers have experienced this or similar or if it is the start of a whole new set of problems????
Any insight would be much appreciated
Thank you!
Annie

Hello I don't have RA I have OA, but I get pins and needles in my arms and hands - mainly left side. I've had an MRI and it shows a bone spur compressing a nerve in my C spine. I have amatriptylne and co-codamol, they help a bit.
I'm sure that someone with RA will answer you soon and give better information than me!Love Sue

I get this in my legs and parathesia too, mines is due to spinal stenosis and bone spurs pressing on my sciatic nerve. It could be you have something similar in the area affecting you and you should speak to your Dr to get help because if you leave it, it can get worse.0

Sue, I meant to ask, do you constant pins and needles in lt arm and hands. I have this problem, I am just hoping Physio might help as medication did not help at all. Is it something you have to learn to live with as it is not life threatening or you eventually get used to it. I have noticed mine seems to be not so constant now. Take care. Marie0 -

Thanks Sue, I think if I do not have the constant tingling sensation, I could easily ignore I have arthritis in the neck. Over the years, I am so used with the manageable constant aches and pains. It will be very strange without them. You do learn to live and adapt, don't you!!0

Hi there, I also get pins and needles sensations in my ,legs and face, arms and head. It feels really weird when it's on my head! The senhsations can be there one minute and gone the next or sometimes are there for a while. Also sometimes my right eyelid twitches. I have been diagnosed with inflamatory arthritis but I think my doc thinks it's RA. Take care. Jo
It's nice to know it's not all in my head and I'm not alone!!0
