has anyone ever had a wierd de ja vu type feeling which makes you feel sick and dizzy?
my oh thinks i'm talking rubbish, either that or i'm mad!
it comes on really suddenly and after i can't remember what started it, but i leaves me feeling awful. i looked online and found others that have similiar things happen but i'm wondering if it's a side effect of my meds maybe? who knows!

Hi, I have had de ja vu experiences at times, but although its a strange sensation for it hasn't made me feel unwell at all. I think I've read somewhere that its to do with a sort of short curcuit in the brain, I guess quite a few things can cause it, so why not medication. If you keep on getting it, I think it may be worth mentioning it to your doc, I think it can be a symptom. But its just one of those odd things that happen from time to time.

thanks! basically it can happen when i'm awake, like yesterday i was sat with my little one watching a cartoon, don't know if seen it before but all of a sudden i came over with the familiar 'de ja vu' thing but then at the same time i feel dizzy and sick. it seems to pass quite quick but the pit of my stomach sick feeling can hang around, you know the feeling you get when something bad is going to happen? does that make sense?!!!
i've also woken from dreams with the same sense of dread and i guess confusion, but i can never remember afterwards what triggered it.
i seem to have a few days where they happen maybe 3 or 4 times then nothing for what can be weeks or then they come back.
i've had them when i'm sat here reading posts so, really can't work it out! feel like i'm mad, except when i typed the symptoms into google it would seem i'm not alone and others are saying they have them to, but no one knows why!!!
i'll see how i go and talk to dr if i can get an appointment ever!!0 -
Hi Your certainly not mad, but if they come often, mention it to the doc, I only have them very, very occasionally. Love Sue0

lol, i'm glad i'm not mad, i'm sure hubby still thinks i am though!!
i think i'll start a diary to see how often they happen and maybe there might be a pattern, i'll let you know!0 -
Hi Suzster, I get this every now and again, sometimes I can have dreams about conversation with Malcolm and they actually happen 2-3 days later, leaves me totally confused, it would be interesting to find out if it is linked to medication love Jaspercatxx0

Hi I get this as part of my lupus and hughes syndrome. It is a weird feeling. It can get quite bad at times. It is worth mentioning to your doc.
Take care
