I'm feeling so much better and want to thank everyone who advised me to see the doctor. I really didn't realise I was depressed, just thought I was in a very difficult situation so bound to feel bad. The tablets have given me my enthusiasm for life back (after spending the first week trying not to fall asleep).
Anyone who feels so low please see a doctor as there is help for you.
Sorry I haven't posted for a while but have been having computer problems, all sorted now I hope,
maudxx

    Dear Maud

Such a sigh of relief here from me, reading your message. I am feeling very happy today, as I have made a start with the christmas festivities and now I am even happier. :D:D

With all good wishes to you, your husband and grandchild,

    Love

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Maud after the awful time you've been having it's good to hear you're on the up. It's sometimes very hard for us to see what others can see clearly. Hope the tablets continue to help and as you know, it's good to let off steam here.

You need to have some one to turn to in times of stress-which will be often in your situation.I really wish this forum had exixsted when my R.A was at its worse and my son younger, less verbal and more confused by the world.I had to battle on and it never occurred to me to get counselling.Glad it is all working out better for you.
    Best wishes
