I had this done on Tuesday and was told to take things easy and not to over do things.
Today I've had a fall and my right arm that I had the jab in took the brunt of it causing me to scream out in pain. I'm sat here with an ice pack on to help ease it. I was told by the lady who did it, no heat, only ice to ease the pain if I should feel any.

My reason for posting is you don't think I could have caused dammage to my arm having fallen, will the cortisone injection still work or have I don't more damage. Is it worth bothering the doctor over or should I just carry on reguardless?

Carol

You sound like you're in a lot of pain and I don't think it would be a bother at all to see your doctor. In fact, I really think it sounds like you should go.

Take it easy. Make sure you keep icing and resting that arm!

I would go and see either your GP or even A&E as you might need an xray to be certain. I fell on my carpel tunnel op scar about 6 weeks after the op. I was on holiday, and we went to the local minor injuries unit for an xray, it was just bruised! felt very silly!!! Better safe than sorry. Love Sue

    Hi Carol,

I also think you should see someone and maybe minor injuries would be your best bet? Luv Cris x

    Hi Carol

I think it would be best just to check you are ok.

If your not they can see to it. If nothing is found then you have nothing to worry about

    Take Care
