    Hi everyone,
Sorry to bump this up again, but I've only just picked up the latest posts of encouragement. Spent most of yesterday on the 'phone letting my friend get things off her chest and helping her to cry - she had to switch off her husband's life support machine. I feel as though I've been clouted with a wet fish! Her son's arrived home now (he works on the 'planes and was on the other side of the world), so I can back off now.

Thanks for you support with my probs. It isn't my rheumy who caused me the problem but another clinic she involved. My miniscus is settling now and I can be rational, pretend it never happened and concentrate on how my Humira is going.

I feel a great deal better and it's only you peeps that stopped me visiting the bottom of the barrel again. I'll nip into the cafe and buy you all a coffee ..... after I've been today and taken out a mortgage for the phone bill.

Elna - me Muther said she had a lovely time but she only takes one sugar in her tea.

It's going to be a better day today, folks!

    Dear Do

I am relieved to read that you are feeling a great deal better. Your dear mum was no trouble at all  I'll remember about the sugar, next time. She had sooooo many cups of tea too. Ah, so THAT is why she kept insisting on making tea but I would not hear of it.

You were being of great comfort to your friend yesterday and I am sorry to hear the very sad news. She will be very grateful and will need you. Sometimes helping a close friend in distress gives us a little shake up call and we see things from a slightly different angle. When we are channelling our energy elsewhere we also tend to forget our own problems for a while.

    Love
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.
