i agree dishes wait, i cant manage to stand fo too long so they often wait til my days of and i do them in dribs and drabs, they still get there,

brusing can occur for various reasons, sometimes medication itself can cause you to be more prone to that, and the worry of what the blood pressure might be can put it up itself, also if you natter through the blood presure being taken that also put its up (strange but true)

try to relax during the blood taking and it should be easier (yes easy to say not so easy to do), either that come to me and i'll do it

Val, due to the spontaneous bruising I suddenly got over last weekend, I've turned into a human pincushion! Every time I go near them they come at me with yet another needle..........

All the results should be in on Monday, so will have to wait patiently till then. Feel OK in myself (when I'm awake) so hoping it is just a glitch somewhere along the line.

    Quite right ailsamary
dishes can wait and so can a lot of the other repetitive household tasks that we are slaves to!

Val.....I hope you get on ok tomorrow with the BP and bloods.......
I think that's why god gave us two arms, so that there's another arm to use when the first one gets too many multi coloured bruises. Irisx

Annie, hope you get good results back on Monday..let us know. Irisx

Hi, 150 is a bit high, although I'm not really sure and it depends on lots of things, even just being worried it might be high or rushing to the appointment! I had to have 24 hour monitor on once, as it had been high every time the doctor took it. When they had the results back they discovered that it was on the low side! My doctor said that its called White Coat Syndrome!!! It cured me, though and I get normal readings now.

I hope that they sort you out quickly. So many things may can put it up, so try not to worry too much!
