6 mth check??

Going for a check up on Wednesday with my bionic joints.Query as to having my other hip done I am managing ok at the moment but still have to take quite a bit of medication. Question to you all if I can manage with the pain killers and not have the hip done or have the hip done and not take quite so many pain killers. in other words trying to avoid the inevitable I feel I have been recuperating for 3 years if I have it done that will be another year out of my life.

    i think the question is when do you loose a year out of your life now or later and will you heal quicker now ??? not had this done so can not help but if it was me i think would rather get it over with if things going to get worse might as well be in pain recovering as in pain with arther. let us know what you decide and good luck

    Dilemma this one isn't it??

    think eventually the pain forces you, but i like Val's thoughts...are you likely to recover sooner if you have it done now??
