Folic Acid Querry

Hi,

This will sound so stupid and I apologize up front for that......

I got liquid folic acid today from the chemist and it doesn't have an idiot proof label but I do know my does if it were tablets.

My eyes are too bad to read the leaflet just now, I might be able to in the morn but I wondered if anyone can help...

Its the same strength as the tablets so I assume I take 10 ml of it? Its a stupid question but since I recons the tablets made me sick I don't want too much f it :wink:

Hope you all are sleeping well and have less pain and problems on waking. Luv Cris Wondering if she can find a 5 ml spoon or would a teaspoon do...... oh and blasting the ears with thumping base :wink: not necessarily good for the brain :lol::lol: Helps though :wink: xx

    Hi Cris

    You need to get yourself a 10ml tot I reckon and get someone to put a mark on the 10ml line??
    I cant help with the dose so i hope with it being up here someone will be able to help.

    Have just done this in reverse with Lucy's epilim liquid to tabs and it isnt as easy as you think :wink:

    Phone or pop back to the chemist and ask the pharmacist about the dosage. You shouldn't take amounts as easily transferable, just in case.

    I got it in a big supermarket and their phones don't seem to be connected to the real world at all :wink: Its also 22 miles down the road but..... I don't use the nearer ones cus of ethics.... but I could ring them :wink:

    I am sure it is differnt for all brand but my sister is pregnant and has / was taking folic acid and she used to fill up the cap of the bottle. Not sure if it is exactly 10ml or if that was the dose she was taking but that is what she would do.

    Thanks Toni where do you get them? I rang and they said it should be the same but without the prescription they can't be sure.... Going to work on that theory anyway.....xx
