Hi, everyone, I posted a while back, and because I didn't log back in for a while I lost threads, I hadn't realised that some of you nice people that I feel I have become to know very well had replied and asked me some questions, and welcomed me to the site. Am 49 female living near Perth, Scotland, I have had psoriasis to varying degrees of horrendousness since I was around 13. This has gradually and over a long period of time developed into Psoriatic Arthritis.I work full-time have had good support over the last few months in particular from my family and work. I am due to go to Pain Clinic next week for the first time - so am curious about how that will go, but looking forward to it too as I wish to avoid as long as possible going onto morphine based pain relief. Cannot do Anti-TNFs because of other issues. Doing Hydro-therapy and physio, on Zamadol, Etodalac and paracetamols. Doing not to bad just now all things considered. Thought I'd better explain myself, feel such a nit not realising how to use the site!! Hope you all start to feel better soon, I see some of you are struggling just now, - am sorry what can I say, except I know how it feels and it will be my turn soon - joy - not

I have PA but usually without the P (only two major episodes in life so far). This is a very good place to let off steam, have a giggle, learn stuff (try Wulf's Old English thread on the chat forum), debate about meds and teatments and it does take your mind off things. My latest anti TNF treatment has failed virtually overnight, so, like you I know what's coming and I am in a FOUL PLACE at the moment, but the support and encouragement people have shown is truly staggering, and humbling. Welcome to the gang - stick around this time! Dreamdaisy.
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

    Hi Rosie

Welcome back to the forum. It's marvelous that you are able to continue in full time work and have such support from those around you. I tried continuing with work but in the end had to admit defeat.
I miss being part of it all but realise leaving was the best thing I ever did.

There are lots of regulars on the site who are full of wisdom and good advice. Keep posting and don't worry about moaning.
