hi just quick question is tingling in hands and feet normal got oa, ia and trapped nerve in neck that affects right arm it just feels strange ??????bit like little electric shocks going off all over them val

    Dear Val,

    Descriptions of tingling are quite common in arthritis and nerve pain, but that's not to confirm a diagnosis. I wonder whether you've got a self-management group you could take this kind of conversation to? You could look up what's 'in your area' on our website.

    An alternative might be to talk this over with a physiotherapist ro doctor. For detailed information you could get a copy of Dr John Tanners' book 'Your guide to back pain' (available in bookshops or online.)
