Is this osteoarthritis

I have had an xray on my right big toe and no sign of bone or joint abnormality. My left big toe has had surgery for osteoarthritis. I have pain, cracking, stiffness. Could it still be arthritis even thou nothing shows on an xray? Please help thanks

your GP may be able to diagnose without needing an xray. Or get a podiatrist to advise you perhaps?

hi,
my osteoarthritis wasn't diagnosed until i had an MRI, it didn't show in a x-ray at all..so maybe you could request one? hope you get help soon
