beware ....... never mind these night-time gardeners you see on the tv ...... night time gardening is dangerous!!!!!!!

just went to the garage to get bread out of freezer...... spotted dead leaf on plant as i passed ........ put hand in to snap off leaf ..... exit one thumb throbbing from a bee sting :shock: :shock: :shock:

moral of story ....... only garden in daylight with gloves on :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    Ahh are you ok though? I hope it is not too painful.

    Right never do gardening in the dark unless you have a full body armour on

    not bad ta ....... am rubbish typing with one hand though!

    cold compress is helping .... thumb throbbing but ok i think.

    painkiller time soon :D

    Aren't bee stings a therapy for some form/s of arthritis? Did it help, wonky? I'm more frightened of skidding on slugs! DD

    I'm more worried about stepping on a frog in the dark...........heaven knows where they all come from! Do they eat slugs?

    I believe they are but I'm not going to be going for it :shock: after last night the thought of being stung again is too much !!!!

    did it help? ..... well it took my mind off my wrists, shoulders and hip for a few hours :wink: but it did nothing at all for the joints near the sting :roll:

    We have frogs in our garden too.
    Its the fact you don't know when they are gonna jump that scares me.

    Don't come into our garden Maude Especially at night We had an olive tree eaten by a wild boar.and one morning a poisonous snake swam out of the pool skimmers.We also have various non-poisonous snakes sliding around Y VIVA Espana :shock:
