Painful collarbones

I am getting a lot of stiffness & pain in my collarbones atm.Today I struggled to push the hoover across the floor with the pain.
Is anyone else like this??

    Hi TJC,

    Oh my sympathy flying towards you cus I get it as well. Some days I cant cope wt a bra strap and others I can't even cope with t T-shirt touching here they join the sternum. I really don't know what it is but I do hope yours soon back off for a bit. Cris x

    I have been having problems when pushing or lifting anything in front or above head. The pain radiated across my collarbone. I had an ultrasound scan and they told be it was shoulder bursitis and have since had a steriod jab zapped into it. Could it be this??

    I've had this from time to time, not mentioned it to any doc or done anything about it, just thought it was part of good old arthur. Sorry I can't be of more help.

    hI tjc

    Does your arm hurt as well? I've been having problems with my arms/shoulders for the past few years and in the last month or so I've had pain at the back of my neck and collar bones especially near the shoulder joint. I'm seeing a specialist next month. I'm not sure what is causing it. I also have trouble getting my bra on too reaching for anything causes me pain and I can't lift anything head height.

    Poor you.

    I do get that too but luckily only intermitently. It is horrible and very frustrating if its the same - I cant really move forwards or up or down with teh arms till it goes off.

    Yes I get it quite often, it feels like someone has put a knife in and they are turning it round and round. Ugh. I can't move my shoulders with it. I Put it down to the RA.

    i get this too,painful in sternum collarbone,and hurts to put arm round doing up bra etc,my doc just said it was the arthritis,
