Hi folks

Been busy at business course recently.
But anyway Dr changed drugs on me today, for pain if anybody been on them would appreciate feed-back.

LYRICA 150mg ( Pregabalin)
Arcoxia 90mg ( Etoricoxib)

I know the Arcoxia is a non-anti inflamitary drug, but i thought OA didn't have inflamation, but I aint no dr. And it is a new thing for me this OA.

And the Pregabalin is for nerve pain, being short of time at Dr's I forgot to ask her about it., she did explain but I didn,t take it in.

Thanks
Mags :):)

Hi Mags, Im on the pregabalins as are a few of us on here.
Its for the nerve pain i.e Burning, stabbing & tingling associated with nerve pain.
I find they help with the stiffness too.
I wouldnt try to go up the dosing stage to quickily as they can make you a bit lightheaded.
Im sticking at 200mg twice a day atm.
Ive not had Arcoxia but have had Ibuprofen & Diclofenacs in the past for inflammation & i also have OA. Ive stopped taking the anti inflams as ive got ibs & they upset my stomach.
I just found they acted as another painkiller on top of the others prescribed.
Good luck with them, they are good.
