The clock went tick-tock

:x we spend the Wednesday night at my daughters on school duty she and hubby were away on a bash for ice cream some of it was on tv wed morning , well we slept in granddaughters bed a double but i was kept awake by the clock going tick-tock only a little sound but so hard to shut out :? :roll:

    Three solutions have occurred to me (assuming it is a small alarm clock-type thing): hide it in a drawer, put it in another room or take the battery out - problem solved! I hope you have a better night's sleep on your next visit. DD

    we stayed with auntie and they had cookoo clock that ticked all night and being on wall could not remove it not great sounds so load val

    I find a tick tock clock comforting, I always buy these type of alarms. Much to the annoyance of my OH, he is getting used to them now.

    its strange realy as i can sleep with the tv on aswell as the radio , but its just the tick-tock x
