hi my name is carol and my 14 year old daughter has just been diagnosed with JIA - we are still a bit in shock with this diagnosis as she has never really been ill in the past

    firstly welcome to the group you will find a lot of support and info on here, we have members in the same possition as you and your daughter, im sorry you have both had this news . im sure there will be lots of advice for you and support in here. post on the living with arthritis forum and pop into chit chat, there is nearly always some one about.

    And welcome to the forum, I am sorry you have had to find us, but this forum is lovely for the support you will get, and also the answers to your questions.
    Have a look in the young peoples forum there are lots on there with children.
