Hello, Nice to see you've found us on the Forum.

I've heard of stories about council officials spying on people and I can believe that the DWP would go to those sort of lengths to get peoples benefits stopped. It seems extreme though and expecially as a lot of things are not visable. Has someone upset you recently, so much that they would be horrible enough to try and get your benefit stopped. Its amazing how many nasty people their are about!

I hope you don't have any problems sorting it out, but if you do get some help from CAB. It might be a good idea, if possible to talk to them before you send the forms off, as how you say something, rather than what you say sometimes makes a difference. Good luck.
    Love Sue

    Oh mooboo... how awful!
It's bad enough to have arther without then being made to 'prove' again how things are for you.... and all because 'someone' reported you.

I'm so sorry that you've had this to deal with. I just hope the dwp will get back to you quickly so that you can put this nasty experience behind you.

...as for who reported you. I hope they are ashamed of themselves.

don't let it get you down.

Glad you've found us on the forum... and hope to see you posting some more.

    Hello and welcome,

There is always someone who thinks you are making it up I'm afraid. Some people have nothing better to do. As R.A is variable I have good days and bad days or even parts of a day too so know how you feel. Best to just fill out the forms and hopefully dla will realise it is just someone unknowledgable about our difficulties.

Hi Mooboo and welcome. Sorry to hear about you being reported .... clearly someone with nothing better to do!! Hopefully they will get struck down with some disabilitating (sp?) illness themselves and find out firsthand what it is like to struggle with everyday tasks!!

Have you started tablets for you low iron count? Surely it shouldn't be long before you are ok for your next op?

    Hello Moboo
And a very warm welcome from me, I am so sorry you have to go through all this on top of having arthur, there are people out there that seem to get jealous when anyone gets something they don't.
I do hope it all turns out ok for you, let us know how you get on.

Hello mooboo, it's nice to meet you. I was upset when I read your story - without a doubt there are cheats and scroungers, but surely you have medical evidence on your side. Your GP and consultant will be able to support your claim: I sincerely hope I am not being too naive on this front. I wish you well. DD

What a horrible thing to do, most likely out of misconcieved jealousy, it is stupid... I really do hope whoever it was is ashemed of themselves... Should be more worried about the real fakers there are..
I don't know where abouts you are but if you look online for an organisation (I think it should be ok to mention it here but if it gets removed PM me and I will tell you) called D.I.A.L, they are brilliant at helping people like us, you know, the geniune ones..

    Take care
